The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is inviting its alumni to join its growing online community network to foster interaction.
According to a statement by the university’s Office of Advancement, UNILAG is building a vibrant alumni online community network to enhance interaction between the University and its Alumni in Nigeria and the Diaspora. The invitation is being extended to alumni with first degree, higher degree, honourary degree, National Certificate in Education or Senate-approved diploma of the university.
To join the community, all alumni are invited to complete the Alumni registration from on-line by logging on to advancement.unilag.edu.ng. In the alternative, alumni can obtain the form from the Office of Advancement, fill it and return in soft or hard copy.
According to the university, benefits of joining the on-line community include networking with “lost” alumni friends and former coursemates/hallmates, invitation to alumni reunions and events, free access to university library services, career advancement and employment opportunities, among others.
